The Lorelton Foundation is hiring a full-time Staff Accountant.
Job Duties:
- Prepare monthly corporate financial statements such as Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and Cash Flow Report, and quarterly and annual budget forecast by analyzing financial variances for the company.
- Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and make financial recommendations to managers and offer solutions or set future plans for sales, budget, cost control.
- Research and analyze accounting discrepancies and perform monthly bank reconciliations by using accounting software and system.
- Perform periodic Financial Report, including general ledger accounts analysis and reconciliation at the end of month to make sure records are tied to accounting system.
- Plan and execute financial and information technology, internal auditing, fraud investigations and accounting regulatory compliance reviews.
- Manage tax budgeting and forecasting process, including the preparation of estimated payments.
- Run semi-monthly payroll and assist with processing year-end 1099s and W-2s. Ensure the compliance with state and federal tax filing requirements advised by the accounting firms, adhering to requirements, and advising on required actions and tax strategy adjustments.
- Administration of 401-k plan and health/insurance plan.
Job Requirements:
Master's Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. Must have Knowledge of Maxwell Systems Colonial and property management.
